Pre School
supporting people in the Dalton Ward
Greenfields Childcare Pre-school exists to provide a safe, affordable and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged from 2 years to 5 years old.
Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each individual child’s personal/social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners.
This may be your child’s first experience of being away from his/her main carers. We hope that together we can make your child’s time with us a happy one as you see him/her learning and developing.
We are required to work under the Department for Education’s Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and much of this information is a specific legal requirement by Ofsted, who register us and inspect our provision. It is also good practice and, in many cases, common sense. It is designed to keep your children safe, to provide a good playing and learning environment and to make expectations clear.
We ask that children attend at least 2 sessions per week as we feel this helps children settle in. Children can attend a variety of sessions and full days.
Opening times and fees
We are open between 7.15am and 6pm, Monday to Friday term time, 7.45 am to 5.45 pm during holidays. We close bank holidays and a week at Christmas.
OUT OF SCHOOL AND HOLIDAY CLUB
Out of School and Holiday Clubs provide stimulating care for children aged 3 to 11 (or 14 if they have additional needs)
